TACTICAL PISTOL / CARBINE COURSE
This course has been designed by a Special Forces combat veteran specifically to address the needs of Law Enforcement Officers. The course has placed a heavy emphasis on pistol work as it is a higher skill set and in most instances an officer’s primary lethal force weapon. The pistol is also incorporated into the carbine drills to replicate situations in which officers move into a tactical environment. speed, accuracy and efficiency in all facets of weapons handling is the core focus.
This course also addresses target identification/discrimination, fire and maneuver, barriers/cover, and safe handling and engagement in proximity to other officers. Drills are designed to identify and correct shooting and weapons handling deficiencies as well as kit set- up issues. Officers will fire 700+ rounds per day to gain maximum repetition, this will begin to ingrain new skills into an automatic response. Skills will be tested and assessed under the stress of competition and physical stress, helping the officers adapt and perform at a higher level during the stress of an actual engagement.
Class size is limited to 6 officers per class to have an instructor/student ratio of one to three, allowing us to maximize feedback and training value. Training is flexible and adaptable to meet your department needs, pre-execution coordination will allow us to adapt base POI to your needs. Departments will supply all ammunition and estimate of 2000 rounds per officer for pistol and 2000 rounds per officer for carbine. This will allow for three full days of high-quality training without compromise. CSA will provide all targetry and range supplies. Water will be on site. Officers should pack a lunch as we will break on site to maximize training time.
Course cost is $600 per person.
